Desert safari (riding on the dunes) – a busy enough but incredibly exciting and perfectly safe with our drivers. You will receive a huge delight from a dinner of a barbecue and snacks of local cuisine. 

The desert is one of the most mystical environments that has been fascinating mankind for centuries. With this excursion, you will experience its silence and magic from sunset to evening.

Itinerary

The beginning of the tour

Depending on the time of the year, the tour starts from 15:00 to 16:30, your driver meets you in the lobby of your hotel.

Desert Safari

After leaving the city on the 4×4 WD safari vehicles you will enjoy an unforgettable roller coaster drive, feeling the thrill of riding the ever-changing golden sand dunes and reaching the highest point in the dunes to view the sunrise. The desert will definitely offer charming and unforgettable landscapes.

Camping in the Rub Al Khali Desert

Behind the setting sun, you will proceed to the campsite, settled in the middle of the vast of the Rub Al Khali desert. Here you can ride a camel, the Bedouin typical way of transportation, and enjoy a Barbecue Dinner served in the Bedouin typical way: sitting on low Arabic style cushions (Divan Seating) laying on the sand. You will be entranced with the light movements of a belly dancer and enjoy some shisha in a relaxed environment under the open sky.

End of the tour

You will be taken back to your hotel.

Cancellation Policy
  • The tour can be canceled up to 4 days prior to arrival without charges. In case of cancellation from 3 days to 0 days 100% of cancellation charges will apply.
  • NO REFUND – Any tour canceled due to weather conditions are non-refundable, however, it can be amended to another date.
  • The driver will not wait for pick up beyond 15 minutes from allocated time. Cancellation or refund is not allowed thereafter.

Important notes

  • During the tour, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing.
  • Please wear suitable footwear considering that you will be walking on sand.
  • The tour is not suitable for pregnant women, small children and people with spinal deceases. 
  • Surcharges applicable on Public holidays or during Exhibitions & Events period. For Safari a surcharge of 20 USD per pax will be applicable for all bookings from 20th December 2019 to 5th January 2020.
  • Smoking, Drinking and Carrying Alcohol in the vehicles is strictly prohibited in the UAE.
  • Tourists are recommended to have their personal insurance at all times.
